The 4th of July was a week ago and I’m finally posting this. I had to figure out how to get video on YouTube, so hopefully it won’t be so difficult in the future.
The neighborhood we live in celebrates the 4th of July on the 3rd of July (not really sure why?) and has a festival and fireworks display. When we chose the lot to build our house, we got really lucky because the fireworks can be seen directly from our front yard, and it’s not some lame fireworks display as you will see.
If you only have a minute, fast forward to 4:30 in the video as that is about when the grand finale starts. The fireworks were so close; it seemed like you could reach out and touch them. So cool!
But, if you want a good laugh, watch the entire video. Throughout the video you’ll hear my 2-year-old son say “Bam! Bam! Bam! Don’t bite fireworks!”, because before the fireworks display he bit into a glow stick and squirted neon green liquid all over him. You’ll also hear our friends’ son asking my husband a million questions about fireworks.
Now why isn’t my husband that patient with me?
